While employed at an agency, our client TASCAM needed a series of print ads for its new product line.

02 — Creative process

The client made clear its desire to reach amateur musicians with the ad series. My colleagues and I decided photo-driven ads with prominent headlines would be a strong approach to the attention-grabbing desires of the client.

I'll come clean: the headline on the primary ad is borrowed from a popular Eminem song from the mid-200s. The other heads and ad copy are original, crafted after interviewing some of the musicians in my life.

These ads ran in music magazines during the lead-up to a large music industry trade show in Anaheim, CA.
